Before you book

With tickets to the Centre Pompidou Málaga, you’ll have direct access to a spectacular cultural venue and contemporary art museum situated in the Port of Málaga (Muelle Uno). Opened in 2015, it is the first international branch of the prestigious Georges Pompidou National Centre for Art and Culture in Paris.

It has become one of the city’s great landmarks thanks to ‘El Cubo’, an iconic exterior structure made of coloured glass designed by the artist Daniel Buren, which acts as a skylight for the underground exhibition galleries.

What defines the centre

A world-class collection: It houses a permanent selection of 20th- and 21st-century works on loan from the Paris headquarters, featuring legendary artists such as Pablo Picasso, Frida Kahlo, Joan Miró, Salvador Dalí and Wassily Kandinsky.

A variety of disciplines: Its exhibition is not limited to painting; it also includes sculpture, photography, industrial design, architecture and film productions.

A dynamic space: It features temporary exhibitions that change constantly throughout the year and a ‘Youth Public Space’ focused on interactive workshops and educational experiences for children and families.

It is an unmissable stop on Málaga’s cultural ‘golden mile’, combining avant-garde art with a coastal and leisure setting.
